How does it work - FMS offers you, the member an opportunity to reduce your costs by joining into the network of manufacturer and vendor programs already negotiated. When you become a member, all of our contracted vendors are notified to extend the FMS pricing to you.
FREE COST ANALYSIS - FMS will provide a FREE cost analysis for you. A representative in your area will meet with you and obtain copies of your invoices for a set period of time (week(s) or month). These invoices are then sent to our corporate office where we do a detailed analysis (see example above) of your purchasing and compare the prices your were charged to the prices you would receive as a member of the FMS group purchasing program.
FREE COST ANALYSIS - FMS provides a FREE cost analysis to determine your potential savings when utilizing the FMS vendor's pricing. We compare your invoices to the FMS pricing for the same time period and are able to show an average of 8-15% savings on your purchases. (see example above)
Order Management System - OMS
FMS
has developed a state-of-the-art online order entry system. With access to this system you will be able to:
  • Access vendors items and current pricing.
  • Create personal order guides of frequently ordered items. This will make it easier to place orders from week to week.
  • Simply select the item and enter the quantity you wish to purchase from your choice of vendors.
  • Create Purchase Orders for each of the vendors whose items have been selected.
  • Purchase Orders are automatically sent via the internet to the vendors that are able to receive them or they can be printed and faxed to the other vendors.
  • Reports to view Purchase Orders, purchase history (volume quantity and dollars).

Bid Process - FMS goes through an extensive bid process to assure the best possible pricing, quality of product and service. Two vendors are chosen to serve our members in 9 different categories (Grocery/Frozen, Meat, Coffee, Dairy, Medical, Textiles, Laundry/Warewashing, Housekeeping/Paper and Plastics and Housekeeping/Chemicals and Supplies)
MVIP-Manufacturer Value Incentive Program - Depending on the type of membership you have, you may be eligible to receive rebate money back for your purchases from over 400 manufacturers (e.g. Kellogg's, Kraft, Sara Lee and many more).

FMS Purchasing & Services is the largest independently owned group purchasing organization in Southeast United States. We have been in business over seventeen years. FMS is endorsed by many professional associations. We are committed to serving the needs of our customers by saving them money.

FMS started in 1989 as a small group purchasing program for retirement facilities in south Florida. We grew throughout the state of Florida and eventually throughout the Southeast United States. We then expanded our money saving opportunities to the Ministry and Restaurant Hospitality fields.
